It's Earth Day! It's My B-day Blog Hop

Hey everyone and welcome to the blog hop! I am so excited to be part of this hop and glad you can join us! This is my project......

I saw mum making an Easter gift box,  it was really cool! I thought I could do one similar but decorate it to look earthy and pretty with flowers for the blog hop.
First I cut out the box and a stuck it together. Then I cut out the tree embossed it and added crystal effects to the leaves,

Then I cut out the flowers and there wasn't any separate layers so I cut out two, one in green and the other in white so I could colour it in with my copics. I added glitter to the flowers, and with the green piece I cut off the flowers so I just had the grass, this was so I could layer it on top of the other piece.

I added in Birthday Celebration sentiment and the pretty butterfly was the final touch! The tissue paper was shredded and placed inside so you could place a little gift there.....hope you like it! :)

Holidays are here!

Woohoo the holidays are finally here, such a long term 12 weeks so glad we get a break! I should be able to do more craft and get  some more stuff on my blog :) I have made this card for Birthday Sundaes Challenge, here is the photo inspiration we had to use....

I used the Cupcake embossing folder and coloured in a few cupcakes then glittered them up! The stamp is a Stamping Bella stamp which I thought was a cute one,  I finished it off with ribbon and stamped "Best Wishes"..........I love the inspiration photo and hopefully my card matches.......

Heartfelt Thanks

I saw Mum's card which had used the new Doily Dies you can purchase from Scrappy-Go-Lucky online store. I loved the heart one and wanted to try it out! I cut out a small heart and thought it would go perfectly with the Stampin Up "Sweet Hearts" stamp set I used above, because it is the same size as the heart punch and would fit perfectly inside the heart stamps!

I am entering this into the Throwback Thursday Challenge, this week there was a sketch and we couldn't use the Circut! I added some glitter on the heart and a button on the bow to finish it off! I also used the Cuttlebug to emboss the strip of white paper.

Saturday night, mum and I were putting together some of the new Stampin Up stamp sets, so we can use them. We got some inks out to try a few, I was just playing around with "Sweet Hearts" and "Bliss" and this is what I did just on a scrap piece of paper........

 I absolutely love the new stamp sets especially "Sweet Hearts" because it has a matching punch, which I used to layer the heart. I added the green behind and then mounted it onto a card. A few touches of glitter and bling! Some ribbon and paper and it was finished, such a quick simple card, and I wasn't even planning on making one! :)

Eggstra Special Easter Wishes!

Hey everyone, how are you all? Hope you are all having a great weekend! Today I made this bright Easter card using Kaiser mini pad Candy Lane, flowers, ribbon, Copics, Stampin Up crystal effects, and stamp set Loads of Love. I really love these papers and thought they would go great with the image I coloured. Hope you like it.......
